Gang på gang er der inspirerende kvinder, der gør os stolte af at dele vort køn med dem. Kvinder, der kæmper for ligestilling, og som kan tale deres sag som ingen andre. Dét vil vi gerne hylde herinde på ELLE-redaktion, og derfor har vi samlet 19 visdomsord fra feministiske kvinder fra hele verden, der gør os stolte af at være kvinde.
Seje, stærke og inspirerende kvinder er der nok af verden over, men er vi alle gode nok til at hylde dem?
Det gør vi faktisk hver eneste dag på ELLE, altså hylder stærke kvinder, og i dag har vi tænkt os at slå et slag for de mange inspirerende feminister, der dagligt kæmper for ligestilling og alle dem, der tidligere har gjort det.
”Hvis du vil have noget sagt, spørg en mand. Hvis du vil have noget gjort, spørg da en kvinde.”
Denne velkendte sætning udtalte den tidligere britiske premierminister Margaret Thatcher under en konference i 1965, og vores feministiske kvinde indvendig kan kun nikke anerkendende til.
Hillary Clinton er kvindeforkæmper med stort k. Således har hun udtrykt sin mening om det kvindelige køn adskillige gange, og vi har derfor samlet hele fire citater fra den tidligere førstedame og nu aggressive amerikanske poltiker i galleriet nedenfor.

Efter den ene inspirerende kvinder, kommer den anden. Og efter den ene tidligere førstedame kommer nu den næste. Michelle Obama, som vi heller ikke helt kan få nok af, udtalte i 2018, at ”der er ingen grænse for, hvad vi som kvinder kan udrette.” Og til det kan vi bare stemme i og sige ’HØRT!’
