Netflix spytter datingshows ud for tiden, som det nærmest er umuligt ikke at bingewatche med en blandet fornemmelse af undren, flovhed og fornøjelse. Knap var finalen af ‘Love is Blind’ ovre, før værterne (og ægteparret) Nick og Vanessa Lachey teasede for et nyt datingformat, de skulle stå i spidsen for.
I ‘The Ultimatum’, som det nye program hedder, har seks par meldt sig til, fordi den ene part i de forskellige par har stillet et, you guessed it, ultimatum til deres udkårne: Gift dig med mig eller smut.
Præmissen for programmet er, at alle parrene skal gå fra hinanden i en prøveperiode på tre uger, hvor de skal date en anden fra programmet, for derefter at vende tilbage til deres originale partner i tre uger. Til allersidst skal hvert par så beslutte, om de vil forloves, gå fra hinanden eller forlade programmet med den nye partner, de har mødt.
Det lyder rodet, ja, og det er det i den grad også. ‘The Ultimatum’ har derfor også affødt et hav af reaktioner på sociale medier. Vi har samlet nogle af de bedste her.
